A Good travel buddy that fit in my jacket - Clement Ho - San Francisco, CA
I like this UMPC. it is small, extremely light weight and have all the features that I wanted: webcam, bluetooth, wifi, SD card reader, convertible tablet.
It is a full functional PC. Yes, the screen is small and hard to read. The boot up speed is a pain. The CPU power is a drag. The trick is keep the PC standby at all time, and use the High performance setting.
I used MSN video chat has no problem after using "High performance". The finger print reader is a nice feature when I login website but not so much for login the PC. I could type faster than the reader pops up.
The bottom line is: It is a hybrid between phone and laptop. Can't get as fast as laptop but can't get as light as phone. It takes times to get used to this. It is a good travel buddy, it is light and everything I need. Good for check email, video call, get online to get quick access. Don't use it more than 1 hr, my finger actually hurt afterward. it has a very nice handwriting input when it is in tablet mode. You don't have to type. The screen is a bit hard. Tap the screen harder than your phone.
